When a bachelor wants to get married, they have to leave their past behind and become responsible people who will take care of a family, and to say goodbye to his free and single status, his friends will throw him one final party as a single man where they get to have fun undertaking many fun activities like bachelor party games. Bachelor parties have been associated with a lot of interesting activities like drinking alcohol. There is usually no limit put to the number of drinks they should consume because this would be the last time in the same single status and it is a form of transition for them. There are so many other bachelor party games that are standard while others are not.

Other popular party games that are very common include punishing the groom. Friends conspire to make him look stupid and this is done using very many ways. The first way to humiliate a groom is by making him wear a stupid t shirt which he might not be aware of. Another way to make him look like a fool is by making him wear a huge condom hat and many other games. This might sound quite outrageous but, it is part of the ritual of overcoming single hood. Other games include drinking games where the groom is made to compete in a drinking competition where his speed is checked. Another game that will be found at a bachelor party is the eating of very greasy foods and, this is in the thinking that this is the last time to enjoy all the good things of life. Some greasy foods that are eaten include pizza, buffalo wings, burgers, fried chicken and others.

Other bachelor party games are playing with party favors where they behave in a childish manner which they figure out is  the last time. Al in all, it is a party where all the notorious things are done. Also, there is telling of very dirty jokes ones you can never mention in public. Other games that are played include lying, vomiting and other disgusting things. Usually present at a bachelors party is a stripper who comes purposely to strip in front of the groom and his friends, as they cheer on. Another game that is played is the asking of questions to the groom which is referred to as a checklist of dares. Therefore, the games are a bit on the edge but, they do it for the man who is getting married.

Bachelor party games include sporting activities where they might go to a nearby sports area to do bungee jumping, river rafting, kayaking, camping in the woods, racing and many other activities. Generally the bachelor is offered a time they will never forget. After the end of these experience, the groom will be seriously looking forward to be joined to his bride. There is not doubt that if you are planning to attend a bachelors party, you are in for a great time in a weird way. Make sure you do not drive after you over indulge in alcohol. The games have been there and, they will continue to offer grooms that rite of passage.

Yes, and yes – both could be referred to as game, although I suppose duck could also be said to be fowl. But referring to wild boar as fowl? Pigs might fly. Oh…well in that case…

Why Teens Play the Choking Game

The Choking Game also know as the Fainting Game, Space Monkey, Airplaning, Funky Chicken and a number of other names, is not a new game for kids. It is “played” by having either another person choke you around the neck or squeeze your midsection until you pass out or by doing it yourself with the aid of a belt, rope, necklace chain or scarf. This isn’t a new game, it’s been around for decades, but seems to be something that is mostly exclusive to teens.

Why would anyone do such a thing? Well, teens do it for a variety of reasons. Some are introduced to it in group situations and feel like they have to do it. Peer pressure plain and simple. Many teens learn the game at sleepovers, at scout, band, or sports camps, or from visiting relatives or siblings. Others do it because it looks cool, their friends did it or because they were curious. Some kids do it to momentarily escape their lives. They may even do it in the bathroom at school.

What do they get out of it? Here are some quotes from teens who’ve played the game. “I found myself jumping up and down against a wall waving my hands around and acting very silly. . . . .I thought it was the coolest thing. Another teen reports learning about the game when she was ten years old and a friend taught her how at a sleepover. “The tingling and blacking out was an addicted feeling.” Then next day she played the game and fell off the bed face first breaking a tooth in half when she struck the floor. An 8th grader says it was “like taking a vacation and coming back all relaxed in just a few seconds.” These children all stopped playing the game either because they saw someone who had difficulty coming too and got scared or because they were injured themselves.

Playing the game gives a teen a quick, free, high that can’t be tested for. Many of them don’t realize how dangerous it is. For them it’s just a funny game. While they are blacked out they may twitch, sleepwalk, bounce into walls, or fall among other things. There are numerous videos on YouTube of kids playing the game. It’s a horrifying sight for any parent.

What you’ll need to look for is marks on their neck, they may also have bloodshot eyes and frequent headaches. It can cause permanent neurological damage. The CDC attributed 82 deaths to the since 1995 but there is no way to know if that number is accurate. At this time they say that teen boys are involved more than teen girls. But kids as young as six have been reported as playing the game, especially if they have older siblings.

Sit down with your teen tonight and ask them if they’ve ever known anyone who played the Choking Game. You may be shocked at the answers you get. I know I was.

You know that awakening feeling you get when it suddenly dawns on you how stupid you’ve been? Thats me right now. My boyfriend was supposed to come tonight, he lives a couple hours away. We see each other at weekends because we are living in different towns. I am going abroad to see my daughter for a month, in a few days. I haven’t seen him for the past 2 weeks cos he’s been working…But tonight he was supposed to be here with me. So I cooked and cleaned and set things nice…the hours ticked by and I eventually sent him a msg asking if he was ok. He tells me he got stuck in traffic and very sorry… (didn’t say I’ll come later, or see you tomorrow… nothing). Why are guys so f”” ignorant? Why the head games? He knew I was waiting and yet until I asked he never even updated me. (I sent this msg 2 hours of him being late). So stuff the chicken and ding the salmon. The wine is open and I’m getting into it. But the smell of the truth makes me sick. Anyone else like me tonight?
