Try to have balanced healthy meals and send your child to school with a balanced lunch. You can find things they will like that has the appropriate nutrition.

Children should have the opportunity to be children and eat some junk food as well. Choose a day or time that your child can eat something like this. AO or Adults Only. Games with this rating should not be played by kids. It is intended for adult players for it displays frequent blood and gore, violence, use of strong words, and graphic display of sexual content including nudity.

RP or Rated Pending. This rating is given to games waiting for final rating.

Kids games should only limit to video games with EC, E, and perhaps E10 ratings. Any games without these ratings should be avoided. If you have games you think inappropriate to their age, put it in areas where they cannot access it. Playing the right games for kids must be imposed at all times. This will ensure that they get the right games with respect to their age.

Bowman 2 is all about shooting an arrow through the heart of your opponent. Very graphic and disturbing. In order to shoot the arrow; you must use your mouse and your left button. Clicking anywhere in the game window (making sure that you always have enough room to adjust the strength and angle of the arrow), you must move your mouse back and down to get the correct angle and strength, then release the left button and your arrow flies. You are hoping the arrow will fly right into the heart of your enemy, thus killing him.


You can choose to go bird hunting by selecting that option. There will be birds flying all over you. Take good aim and keep pulling back to get a lot of strength. If you do not have enough strength, then your arrow goes up just a bit and falls right down next to you! You must remember that you will always have to shoot in front of the target some to allow the arrow to climb to the correct height and still hit your target. When you do hit a bird, then it does fall out of the sky with blood dripping out if it-very graphic for younger players. In fact, after quite a few kills, we found ourselves surrounded by blood spills as well as the dead birds. If you have had a very bad day at the office this could relieve some stress.


Clear Vision II is a hit man for hire. When you enter into the game, you are asked if you will take a mission and it is explained in great detail. The first mission we did was to kill an x-wife of someone because they thought that she was crazy! They will pay you so much money and then you must hit the accept bar. After accepting your new job, you will stalk the target by looking through the spyglass. After finding and entering the “kill zone” you then take the shot. When you kill the target, blood shoots out where the bullet hit and the target falls. You calmly walk away and back to the office where you will collect the money from the grateful client. You then have the choice whether to go home or take another job. This game is extremely violent and isn’t one that kids or teens should play because of the graphic nature as well as the level of violence involved. Clear Vision II is an adult only game.


As you can see, the most popular games of war are also some of the most disturbing games that can be played. It is imperative to ensure that your teen understands real life does not work the way the games do. If there is any doubt, skip these games and opt for more realistic ones as games of war can become deadly if transfered from the screen into real life situations.

Boris Spassky ate sandwiches and drank coffee and orange juice.

Therefore, during their epic World Championship Chess Tournament in Iceland in 1972, Spassky probably consumed more carbohydrates than his American challenger, from eating two slices of bread along with whatever was in the middle of his sandwiches. He spiked his blood sugar level with a high glycemic index drink and squeezed his energy reserves with caffeine.

Depending on how much tomato juice and cola he drank, Fischer may have eaten more carbohydrates than the optimum, but at least he ate a lot of high protein foods to balance the carbs.

legacy of kain games on my mac?

loved the legacy of kain games (blood omen 2, soul reaver 1 + 2 in particular) but the only formats of it i have are no longer compatible with any console etc i have. was wondering if anyone knew where i could download one of them for my mac (OSX leopard) because id love to play them again. thanks in advance !

the only way to play them is to install bootcamp and windows xp on your macintosh
( or paralells or vmware fusion and win 9x on that ) there have bene no mac os ports of those games

alternativley you could buy a used ps 2 and play them on that

World of Warcraft: Blood Elves

One of the most popular computer games of all time is Warcraft. Many incarnations of the game have come and gone over the years. One of the most recent one is called World of Warcraft (WOW). In this massive multi-player game, players are assigned the task of building and developing a character of a specific race to pit against the evil minions of the world.

An expansion game for WOW is called Burning Crusade. Within it players can choose from a variety of races including the Blood Elves. With the Burning Crusade Blood Elves, players are taking control of a long standing, proud army of stoic warriors.

The Blood Elves’ history is steeped in slaughter and bloodshed, hence their name. Born of the High Elf kingdom, these noble creatures were once a powerful part of the now lost land of Sunwell. When the mad Prince Arthas invaded their land and resurrected the Lich Kel-Thuzad, he decimated their people, nearly destroying the entire race.

But not all were killed. The survivors were hardened by this harrowing experience and thus became a darker version of their former selves. Learning from one of the last remaining of the royal bloodline named Kael, they began descending into an even darker escapade of their history. They began tapping into the mystic energy of demonic origin and are now shunned by most of their kin.

Much before this changing of their nature, the high elves were considered outcasts from the Alliance and left their original homeland in search of something else. Thus began the dwelling in Sunwell.

They were determined to create a life for themselves, a new beginning.

Their power and influence grew as they settled into their new home, drawing much power from the Sunwell’s mystical energies. They fed on this power, using it to develop their powers to defend themselves from many of the harsh inhabitants of the world around them.

But this hardship strengthened those that survived, making them the powerful Burning Crusade Blood Elves they are today. This is an army worthy of commitment while playing the game of Warcraft. It is a proud history and one that should be thought of with reverence and honor.

Blood Elves are a race that requires a bit more finesse than the hard changing orcs for example or the slowing but relentless undead. Use their powerful magic to your advantage. Whatever party you join in this huge sprawling multi-player world will benefit from your skills.
